Wardlaw Cross Country Celebrates Personal Bests

Wardlaw Academy’s cross country team competed in the Mustang Stampede at Midland Valley High School on Thursday, and the Patriots made the most of the opportunity.

Every Wardlaw runner reached a personal goal, recorded a season PR, or set a new all-time personal record during the 5K.

Sophomore Camden Bracco led the Patriots with a major milestone, breaking the 20-minute mark for the first time with a time of 19:27. Sixth-grader Jada Rembert-Dean led the girls with a 25:25 finish, followed closely by freshman Saylor Crossland in 25:31.

Cooper Davis (22:34), Andrew Smith (23:04), Jake Winn (23:36), Blake Edmunds (24:01), and Harlin Crossland (25:17) also recorded strong finishes for the Patriots.

It was a great day of personal accomplishments for Wardlaw as the team continues its season!
