Our Lower School students recently gathered for chapel for a meaningful reminder of the compassion and care of Jesus.
Dr. Aaron Tripp from Edgefield First Baptist Church shared a message centered on Matthew 4:23–24 and Matthew 8:1–3, helping students understand that Jesus sees those who are hurting and responds with love and compassion.
The lesson encouraged our students to recognize that Jesus cares about the hurting, and He calls us to care for others, too. Whether someone is experiencing physical pain, sadness, loneliness, or difficulty, we can follow Jesus' example by showing kindness, compassion, and love.
We are thankful to Dr. Tripp for sharing this important message with our Lower School students and for encouraging them to reflect Christ's love in the way they treat others.
