Beta Club

The Beta Club is a national organization which promotes honorable character, service  involvement to school and community,

and outstanding academic achievement. Senior Beta Club is for students in grades ten through twelve. Junior Beta Club is .for students in grades seven through nine. To become a member, each student must achieve an overall average of 92 in all academic subjectsand maintain an overall average of 90 each year.   There is a one-time membership fee of $13, and yearly dues are

collected for the purchase of the honor cords for seniors. Some of the past projects have included a school,  clean-up campaign, a

luncheon for the faculty, a food drive, a book fair, stuffed animals for the local hospital, a collection of baby products for

the pregnancy center in Aiken, and care kits for the hurricane victims. We presently have 36 members in both Junior and

Senior Beta Club.  The clubs will tap new members at the tapping ceremony in November.
