Note: The Lady Patriots ran into a fired up Laurens team that forced eight Wardlaw turnovers in the first quarter that gave Laurens an 8-3 lead after quarter one. In the second quarter the Lady Patriots got a few breaks going to outscore the Lady Crusaders 15-2 and take an 18-10 lead into the locker room. The play of the game was a Gina Easler buzzer beater to end the third quarter with a 3 pointer from about 60 feet out. Easler had another double double with 12 points and 13 boards. The Lady Patriots with the win stand alone atop the SCISA Region 2-A race with a 3-0 record and Laurens falls to 1-2. Note: The Patriots fighting for first place in SCISA Region 2-A let an upset win fade in the third quarter as they could only get off eight shots in the quarter. A 3 point halftime lead melted away to 11 points behind going into the fourth quarter. Harrison Courtney had a career night for Wardlaw getting 17 points and 10 boards.
