7th Grade Marshmellow Bugs??? Last Week in our science class we had a test on heredity and the passing of traits from parents to offspring. This week, Mrs. James assigned us a bug project. We have to use two bugs constructed of marshmellow, candy, toothpicks and paperclips to create offspring with similar traits. We filled out a chart ot get the phenotypes and genotypes. After that, we made the bug with the objects we used on the parents to show the traits passing from generation to generation. We had fun creating our creatures. We even named them!
