The Wardlaw Academy chess team traveled to Orangeburg on Tuesday November 13, 2007 to complete in the 2007 SCISA Chess Tournament.  Competing from Wardlaw are:

                                   Cory Friend (8th)

                                   Brandon Warrick (7th)

                                   Daniel Wooten  (7th)

                                   Scott James (4th)

Wardlaw cam away with 3 top 10 finishes:  Scott James (4th), Cory Friend (5th), and Daniel Wooten (10th).  There were 16 school and 86 students in attendance at this year's tournament.
